Does anyone have skin irritation issues from the chlorine in swimming pools? I enjoy swimming at the Y 4-5 days per week, but being on Opdivo is making me itch terribly! Triswim shower gel and lotion do nothing to help.

This sounds really frustrating, especially when swimming brings you so much joy and routine. Skin sensitivity can definitely increase during cancer treatment, and chlorine exposure might feel more irritating than it used to. Many people in this community have found that discussing these kinds of side effects with their treatment team can be helpful - they might have suggestions for managing skin sensitivity or timing your swimming routine. Have others here experienced similar skin reactions during their treatment journey?

Yes I had the same issues with Opdivo. At first the itching was unbearable, I went to the dermatologist and he prescribed some cream that helped a little bit but not that much. I have been on Opdivo for over a year now and the itching does subside a little bit.
