a day agoJust diagnosed in May with IDC stage 1A. I was already being treated for my mental health alongside recovery from alcohol/addiction. I am perimenopausal and my mental health is suffering to the point I cannot work. I don't know how I feel from one dayto the next. Any suggestions?

a day agoDear Jolene, My wife and I have been together now for just over 26yrs. She is and was a drug addict as well.. 21yrs. Ago she gave her life to Our Lord and Savior and has been blessed with sobriety since.. Yes it was a struggle but when you put ALL your FAITH in Jesus Christ he’ll see you through anything. All I can suggest is that you get down on your knees give it all to Jesus and let him show you the way. Also I’ve started something for everyone here that wants to join me. Every morning in the privacy of your living space I get down on my knees and pray for EVERYONE in O4M. In the New Testament Matthew 6; 5-15 written in RED is the answer to our salvation Jolene.. Simply put by Jesus Christ himself “ When you pray pray the Our Farther “ I hope you’ll join me each day for prayer. Please feel free to invite a family member or friend to pray with us.. In my prayers for as long as I’m here.. God Bless Thomas O

a day agoManaging mental health during multiple life changes can feel overwhelming, and it's completely understandable that the combination of cancer recovery, perimenopause, and existing mental health treatment would create such daily uncertainty. Consider discussing with your healthcare team how these interconnected challenges might be addressed together, and remember that many people in this community have navigated similar complex situations and may have valuable insights to share.
