Cancer-related fatigue is one of the most challenging aspects of treatment, and it's completely understandable to seek ways to manage this overwhelming exhaustion. Small steps like gentle movement when possible, prioritizing rest, staying hydrated, and working with your care team to address any underlying causes can sometimes help improve energy levels. This community understands these struggles deeply - have others found specific strategies that made even small differences in managing fatigue during treatment?

Netflix? Maybe stay away from other people so you don't get a virus.

I break my day into manageable slices. Take a shower. Rest with a book. Make myself lunch, take a nap with some soft music playing on the radio. Make time to invite a friend over for an hour in the afternoon. Whatever is comfortable for you! Also church groups are happy to donate craft supplies, yarn , embroidery etc if you would like to learn a craft to relax with. Reach out ! People love to help and feel needed.

Bless you Christine ... constant fatigue, that's my biggest complaint. I had a small brain tumor (small cell, 4th stage) removed last year. I've been thru chemo and radiation and now going thru immunotherapy infusions. I've always been active. I've had very mild headaches occasionally, dehydration but no PAIN ...thank God. Another thing, because I had seizures before the cancer diagnosis, I don't drive. I hate that. Not that I'd drive far but ... Thanks for your tips.

Mary, I pray you are doing and feeling better and finding pathways to cope with the fatigue that give you a more balanced life. You are in my daily prayers and thoughts and I oh so much wish we lived close to each other. I would come and just sit with you and perhaps teach you a craft or two.
