How do you find hope after a metastatic breast cancer diagnosis?

a month agoWhen I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in April 2024 I wasn’t quite sure I would’ve still be here feeling okay today. In fact my first oncologist hinted that I should have a bucket list which really petrified me at the time even if he was being a realist. I chose hope and faith and I still believe in the power of positive thinking and courage. This community gives me hope and the knowledge that there are many others with journeys that are not so dissimilar to mine. It’s been a rough week awaiting test results s and somewhat confused by my conflicting results ✝️🙏🥰. But I praise God for giving me special care team and for my family and this community.

a month agoThank you for your post, I was diagnosed in Feb 2025 with the same diagnosis as you and your post inspires me with hope. You have great positive attitude and that is prime. Your Faith and Hope are way up there too. I’m sure you have days when the challenges are unexpected when all seems dark. For me I allow myself to go there and have some time in a “mope” but then I climb right back out and start the battle again. With the help of my team and support at home it eases the burden. God bless you in your journey xx

a month agoThank you everyone. I too allow myself a sad time but not for too long. Time to live our lives as they are meant to be lived . Not as we expected but we are here!!!!!!!
