Loss of taste is a challenging side effect that many cancer patients experience, and it can really impact quality of life and nutrition. This symptom can be related to various aspects of cancer treatment, so discussing it with your healthcare team would be the best first step - they may have specific strategies or recommendations based on your situation. Many community members have found helpful tips for managing taste changes, so hopefully others will share their experiences and what has worked for them.

2 months agoI'm so so sorry. I'm struggling with food too. I'm currently on a fast because food just makes me hurt. And my pain doctor told me that food makes the cancer grow. And my cancer is growing. I wish I had some answers for you. God bless you

a month agoI found the only things I could taste were salty and spicy things. Acidic foods were the worst-made me queasy. I did best with simple things like chicken soup, toast, and crackers, rice was filling and easy to digest. Best of luck to you. Finding things I could eat was very challenging!
