5 months agoHi everyone my first time posting here! I was diagnosed with with MBC Denvo 2.5 years ago Er/PR+ Her-. Well my cancer just flipped to MTNBC. So where as before I was super positive now I am kind of scared for the first time since my diagnosis. I went my Pills as treatment to Troveldy which is a Chemo infusion now very quickly. Someone told me this new kind is very aggressive. I don’t have a good support group. Even my husband tries to one up me with his non cancer illness. My good support is at work and 2 out of 4 of my children. I just got my head shaved which was a very emotional day. I have been playing phone tag to get in with the therapist at the free Cancer Resource Center I go to for a monthly support group. Which I really feel I need the therapy now. Sorry for the long winded post! Prayers for you all!!

5 months agoHi sweetheart. I was diagnosed with anal cancer a month ago. It’s been an overwhelming whirlwind since then. I got my colostomy bag put in on June 23. Still having a little surgical pain from that. Now that I’m stable with surgery I have spots lined up for radiation and chemo therapy next week. I surely do not like my new norm but what else can I do? Unlike you, I have a solid support system from family and church family. I will be praying for you. I don’t know how anyone can do this without God being there with you. Are you a believer by chance?
