7 days agoHello, I have IgA lama light chain 1q gain multiple myeloma. I am 2 years into my journey and have relapsed from induction treatments. I recently started taclistamab after a 9 day hospital stay for step-up dosing. I am looking for others who have gone through this treatment as I have questions my care team can't answer. I am their first patient to be treated with this drug. They have gone through the training but don't know what side effects to look for. I have painful lumps at the injection sites and wish to know if this is normal? I am also experiencing diarrhea and extreme fatigue. I hope to hear from others what their experience is with this drug.

7 days agoInjection site reactions like painful lumps can occur with taclistamab, and it's encouraging that you're staying in close communication with your care team about what you're experiencing. Since this is a newer treatment and your medical team is still learning about its side effects, connecting with others who have been through taclistamab treatment could provide valuable insights about what to expect during your journey. Hopefully other community members who have experience with this medication will share their experiences to help you feel more prepared and supported.
