13 days agoI have multiple myeloma and am taking Revlimid (lenalidomide) as part of my treatment plan. My care team explained that it works by boosting my immune system to fight the myeloma cells while also affecting their blood supply. They're monitoring me closely with regular lab tests to watch for side effects like infection risk, blood clots, and changes in my blood counts. I'd love to connect with others who have experience with this medication and hear how you've managed. • What has your day-to-day experience been like on Revlimid? • What tips or strategies helped you during treatment?

12 days agoHi Richard, I was on lenalidomide for 5 months before my stem cell harvest. I had a lot of side effects, constipation, dry skin, my nails did not grow, and I have a chronic blood clot. I developed lymphedema in my legs. Neuropathy in my hands. My numbers were great after one month. I often wonder why they did not lower my dosage when my numbers came down. After my stem cell harvest, I was put back on a lower dose and I broke out with a rash on my face and chest. We discontinued the drug. I hope your journey is better than mine!
