How do I cope with neuroendocrine carcinoid tumor?

I was diagnosed with the same thing May 2026, had it removed from bowel and small intestine June 17 . Now August it’s in my Liver! UGHHHH

Mine metastasized very quickly to liver, bone etc.

I was diagnosed with in December 2023. My tumor was in the pancreas.

Me too in May of 2005. I was getting sick and throwing up almost daily on my way to work. I had constant hiccups in my waking hours. I was more tired than usual. I went in for an endoscopy ordered by my PCP. She has sent me to an endocrinologist. I did it and since my hubby and I were working, I was 45 at at time. Plus it was close to my work I went by myself. The doctor told me that I had a rare incurable cancer 1 cm in my duodenum. He said that he was referring me to an Oncologist. I left and my knees softly hit the pavement outside those doors. I prayed to God for him to take this burden because I was not ready and I knee that worry was a sin. I could not stop crying. I then called my boss and she was so kind, she told me to drive home if I can and if I could not she would help me. I then called my husband and he was in a meeting so I left a message to call me when he was free. I then proceeded yo drive home and that day the 25 min drive seemed longer than usual. I then proceeded to learn as much about this disease as possible. To the point of becoming co chair of the support group in Atlanta. It has not been a dance but a constant inflow of doctors and nurses. Please tell me about your diagnosis and thoughts. God bless and welcome to the 21 year club!! I hope it never grows beyond us!!
