living with cancer: a journey of Hope and humor Diagnosed with stage 4 non small cell cancer back in 2017 I’ve learned that progression free survival means living with regular scans scan anxiety and the ups and downs that comes with treatment. Targeted therapy has its Stone especially the fatigue but I found ways to keep going from grocery runs to work even arguing on social media just to stay sharp! The pandemic added new challenges with personal losses and multiple votes of Covid that affected my hearing still I keep showing up adapting and finding humor in the small victories like stopping for a Dunkin’ Donuts coffee after radiation treatments . In 2024 I face heartbreaking losses for the love and strength from my family especially my wife supporting racing our children kept me grounded she passed away in 2024 from front to temple dementia she was also a physician until the diagnosis was made Melbourne 2026 I don’t know what the future holds but I focus on good nutrition mode exercise and making at least two people smile each day I even got hearing aids because staying connected matters! Cancel maybe be part of my life but he doesn’t define my spirit to everyone on this path let’s keep wagging our tails, chasing Hope, and living fully . Godspeed best Ramesh

Hope can be found in the daily moments of connection, purpose, and resilience that shine through even during the most challenging chapters of a cancer journey. The approach of focusing on nutrition, exercise, making others smile, and staying connected shows how meaningful living can continue alongside treatment, and this perspective often inspires others in the community who are navigating similar paths.

I completely agree that those daily moments of connection and purpose are where real hope lives - and Ramesh, your commitment to making two people smile each day while honoring your wife's memory shows incredible strength that I'm sure touches more lives than you realize.

Ramesh, I too share your same condition diagnosed in Jan 2024. Your story gives me hope that besides your losses you are still here!!!! I get chemo every week and going to the gym is my victory. It makes me feel healthy besides getting out of bed!!!! My respects and Best wishes for you.
