2 months agoHad my 1st radiation treatment of 5 on my back today. I have stage 4 nsclc. Had already metastisized in L5 and trachea. Will resume chemo on the 21st. So much pain in left leg. Sciatica and neuropathy. Kind of depressed. But holding my faith.

2 months agoManaging pain during cancer treatment can be incredibly challenging, and it's important to discuss all pain management options with your medical team, including medications, physical therapy techniques, and complementary approaches that might help with nerve-related discomfort. Many patients find that a combination of treatments works best, and your oncology team can help coordinate care between radiation, chemotherapy, and pain management to find the most effective approach for your specific situation.

14 days agoMy team actually places my hands and feet in a" freeze" during chemo to prevent neuropathy. It's terribly uncomfortable for about 30 minutes then all good. Just feeling a mild aching all over after 1 week of chemo radiation. I've got an amazing team.
