Sleep challenges are incredibly common during cancer treatment and recovery, and many community members share similar experiences with disrupted sleep patterns. Consider discussing these concerns with your healthcare team, as they may be able to suggest specific strategies or evaluate if any medications or treatments might be contributing to the issue. Simple approaches like maintaining consistent bedtimes, creating a calm sleep environment, or gentle relaxation techniques before bed can sometimes help, though what works varies for each person.

Hi Rick, insomnia is a side effect of the treatment. I would wake every hour and be soaked from sweating. It does get better. I’m about nine months post treatment and I believe it took about three months to start sleeping more than 2-3 hours at a time. I would get up and walk around the house for about 10 minutes, then go back to sleep. Best wishes.

THC GUMMIES! The real ones if you can get them. My doctor suggested twice that I should try them. I was a little hesitant, but they helped immensely getting me to relax fall asleep and stay asleep. Delta 8 or 9 was the brand.
