a day agoHello Stage 4 ovarian, could not do a hysterectomy as there is to much scar tissue. 6 rounds of taxol/carbo. Now I sit and wait. I am 73 and have never taken any type of medication. Exercised my whole life. It is just so unbelievable . Any suggestions? No BRAC no mutations. I think I’m SOL.

a day agoHi Geri. How do you feel? What have they told you such as your response/CA125? What are their next steps/plans? I was diagnosed with stg IVA in 4/24. I was NED until my CA125 started ticking up late June...long story short I am back in treatment with carbo/doxil and responding well. I unfortunately had some hernia issues and had several surgeries but am now feeling good and back to work FT and living my life! I've found that considering thus as living with this as a chronic disease has helped my mindset and spirit. Best to you!

19 hours agoI'm going through something so similar and that waiting period after chemo feels absolutely terrifying - you're definitely not alone in feeling this way. At 68 myself, I completely understand that sense of disbelief when everything changes so suddenly after a lifetime of being healthy.
