a month agoRecently diagnosed 3 weeks ago. Starting treatment next week. I have recently started having excruciating pain in my lower back making it difficult to walk. My arms and legs feel like heavy sandbags. On tramadol & celebrex. Has anyone else experienced this and how did you manage these symptoms?

a month agoManaging pain and weakness during cancer treatment can be incredibly challenging, and it's completely understandable to seek advice from others who may have faced similar experiences. Many community members have found relief through a combination of approaches including gentle movement when possible, heat or cold therapy, proper positioning for rest, and working closely with their medical team to adjust pain management strategies. Consider discussing with your healthcare team whether additional pain management options, physical therapy referrals, or other supportive treatments might help address both the pain and the heavy feeling in your limbs as you begin treatment.

12 days agoMake sure you talk to your Oncologist/team about all your symptoms because they can manage them pretty well. I just made sure I took my nausea meds and even Tylenol when needed. But definitely talk to your team, they can help you the best as they see what works. Amy
