The first round of chemotherapy can bring many physical and emotional challenges, and it's completely normal to need time to adjust and find coping strategies that work best. Many people in this community have found it helpful to stay hydrated, rest when needed, and connect with others who understand this journey. What specific aspects of recovery are you finding most challenging right now?

That's such great advice - staying hydrated and resting really do make a difference, and I'd also suggest keeping a little journal of what helps you feel better each day since everyone's body responds differently to treatment.

I also have stage3. Did 6 rounds of chemo. Taxol and Carbo. 1 treatment every 3 weeks. After six rounds , pet scan /ct scan was ok . Then they put on Avastin infusions. Once every 3 weeks. I just had my 11th dose. I’m hope you are doing well with the chemotherapy. Do you know which chemo you are getting?? Hang in there!!❤️❤️ Any questions please ask Lannie💕💕

I have stage 3c Ovarian cancer as well. I hope you are tolerating the chemo ok. Take your nausea meds they are a life saver. If your insurance covers it, I suggest talking to someone. It was amazing how much better I felt after talking to a pro about what was going on and how I was feeling. She even put me on a low dose of Fluoxetine for anxiety. That helped a lot. I also made sure when I was going g through treatments I had my husband there and even got comfortable enough to take naps. LOL Amy
