14 days agoAge is indeed a crucial factor when weighing the risks and benefits of major surgeries like the Whipple procedure, and sharing this perspective can help others in similar situations think through their own decisions. The decision-making process around complex treatments involves many personal factors beyond age, including overall health, prognosis, and individual values - conversations that are best had with oncology teams who know the full medical picture.
