Just recently diagnosed with Metastatic pancreatic cancer, with nodules in liver, lungs. Besides being extremely painful it's scary. Had port put in yesterday, start chemo at the end of this week. Have not been staged yet but my cancer coordinator thinks it's possible stage 4,Metastatic. Just want to live each day grateful and want a little more time with family and so I can prepare for my journey with Jesus.

Finding the strength to cope with this diagnosis takes tremendous courage, and focusing on gratitude and precious time with loved ones shows remarkable resilience. Many community members have shared that taking things one day at a time, connecting with others who understand this journey, and finding small moments of peace can help navigate the emotional challenges that come with metastatic cancer.

Amen sabrina, your good attitude will serve you well. I've been stage four for two and a half years and I credit positive attitude for a whole lot of that. Why not look at the time we have remaining as a gift? Best wishes to you! I'm not suggesting that it's predictable but my pain got a whole lot better once I started chemo.
