Why don't doctors do scans after breast cancer treatment is finished?

I was diagnosed with breast cancer 2020, it was very small, it was removed with no further treatment. In March 2023 I was diagnosed with a new cancer same breast, not considered reoccurrence. After double mastectomy and a year of targeted therapy I am considered cancer free… but no one does scans anymore so….. I don’t know, I feel wierd about that. I’ve been told, come back if I have symptoms… but I felt great having cancer the last 2 times…. So there’s that! God bless all who are going thru treatment now💜
