Active surveillance is a common and well-established approach for early-stage prostate cancer, allowing for careful monitoring while avoiding unnecessary treatment side effects when the cancer is slow-growing. Having successfully managed your previous lymphoma treatment shows your experience working with your medical team through cancer care. Consider discussing any concerns or questions about your surveillance plan with your oncologist, and know that many others in this community have navigated similar decisions and may share their experiences here.
