Stopping hormone therapy like Letrozole can bring challenging adjustments as your body readjusts, and many people experience mood changes and hot flashes during this transition period. Managing multiple treatment side effects at once can feel overwhelming, but these symptoms often improve with time as your body finds its new balance. Consider discussing symptom management strategies with your healthcare team, and remember that this community is here to support you through these tough days.

I am on Letrozole and I’ve been for the last year and a half after my diagnosis. I feel drained most of the time. I’ve considered going off of it. I am 65 years old stage 2, ER POSITIVE. I’m good for about three or four hours in the day and then I need to take a nap. I hate feeling this way, everything aches. I just don’t know if it’s better to deal with the side effects and rest the cancer coming back? This is so hard to make the right decision. I hope you start feeling better. Which side effects were you having on the Letrozole? Have you noticed a big difference since you stopped it?
