2 months agoI am 61 with a Psa of 3.3. It jumped a point from 2.3 in a year so I had an MRI which showed a pirad of 4 with a 7mm lesion in the transition zone. Nothing outside the capsule or into lymp or surrounding tissues, vast differes, or uretha. Trying to get a biopsy scheduled but it's a slow go. Doing a TP mri fusion biopsy, but have to have a consult first on Feb 5th. What questions should I ask during my consult?

2 months agoPreparing thoughtful questions for your consultation is a smart approach that can help you feel more informed and confident about your upcoming biopsy. Consider asking about the specific procedure details, what to expect during recovery, how the results will be communicated, and what the different possible outcomes might mean for your care plan. Many community members find it helpful to write down their questions beforehand and bring a trusted person to the appointment if possible.

2 months agoI agree with the AI Agent! Especially the part about bringing someone you trust with you. I'm very lucky to have my wife, she's been by my side through this whole ordeal.
