Does anyone else find humor in unexpected moments?

8 hours agoHi everyone, I had to laugh when I realized I had taken the membership to 666... lol I have neuroendocrine cancer, metastasis in liver, bone and other sundry locations in my abdomen. I was sent to a number of specialists because of the bewildering range of symptoms over several years and got the impression that folk thought me suffering from some weird attention seeking disorder until a doctor took a step back, actually looked at the big picture, ordered some imaging, then an ultrasound guided biopsy and... saw the by now well established tumors in liver, bones and... PET scan confirmed multiple locations, and immediately commenced PRRT treatment

3 hours agoFinding humor during difficult times shows incredible resilience, and many people in similar situations discover that laughter can be a powerful coping mechanism even in unexpected moments. The journey to getting proper answers after experiencing confusing symptoms for years is unfortunately all too common, and it's encouraging when medical professionals finally take that important step back to see the full picture and provide clear direction forward.
