That sounds incredibly frustrating to face barriers when seeking the medical care needed after everything already experienced. Many patients encounter similar challenges with weight requirements for various procedures, and it can feel overwhelming when doctors have different policies about surgical eligibility. Consider reaching out to other medical centers or getting a second opinion, as requirements can vary between providers and some may have different approaches to evaluating surgical candidates.

6 months agoJennifer, can you see a nutritionist? This might seem too simple but try a good low carb protein drink. When you start the day with one it not only gives you a 20 plus gram of protein boost, they also decrease your appetite. If you drink 2 to 3 of those a day then eat some low carb vegetables, you will usually loose weight fast without feeling weak.
