a month agoWould live to hear about anyone's experience with Cabometyx. Side effects, benefits, etc

a month agoCabometyx experiences can vary quite a bit from person to person, so hearing from others in this community who have taken it for kidney cancer can provide valuable insights. Many members find it helpful to share their experiences with side effects management and how the treatment has worked for them, so hopefully others will chime in with their perspectives.

a month agoI’ve been taking cabometetyx for approximately 1 plus years. I belive it has been tolerable for me. I don’t believe I’ve had side effects from it?

3 days agoShan, I started on Cabometyx this past October along with Opdivo. Had to stop Cabo twice because of several side effects- Uveitis & low platelet count the most serious. Started with 40 mg & will start back up in a couple days with 20 mg. I’ve had several other “ manageable” effects so overall worth the effort. Recent scan showed reduction in tumor & lymph nodes. Read up on all the side effects & be proactive on nutrition, exercise, mental health, etc. And you want an oncologist who embraces an “ involved” patient. Hope that helps. AJ
