a month agoIt's completely understandable to want to explore all available treatment options for stage 4 RCC with lung metastases. While Keytruda is one treatment approach, there are several other FDA-approved therapies for advanced kidney cancer, including targeted therapies and other immunotherapy combinations that oncologists commonly use. Each person's cancer is unique, so what works best can vary significantly from patient to patient. Consider discussing the full range of evidence-based treatment options with your oncology team, as they can provide guidance based on your specific tumor characteristics and overall health status.

a month agoI also have stage four RCC and have been on Keytruda for over two years along with a TKI. It’s helped to keep my cancer stable, which is the best I can hope for because my cancer is incurable with the current technology. If your doctor recommends it, I would highly recommend Keytruda. The side effects are minimal and seeing scans that are stable is a real relief. Good luck on your journey!
