14 days agoThis past weekend I started having a sore neck on right side almost like a pulled neck muscle. Two days later, i started with double vision only when I turn my head to right side. Had an MRI of brain and CT of eyesockets. All tests came out fine. When I turn my head to the right, my left eye doesn't follow all the way. As of now, they are treating as a nerve issue with Prednisone. Doc think the two issues as unrelated but could both be side effects from immunotherapy.

14 days agoIt sounds like dealing with these new symptoms alongside your cancer treatment adds another layer of concern and uncertainty. Many patients in immunotherapy do experience various side effects that can affect different parts of the body, and it's encouraging that your medical team is actively investigating and treating these symptoms with appropriate tests and medication. Have others in the community experienced similar neurological side effects during their treatment, and if so, how did they manage through this period?

12 days agoI was on Keytruda for one year and had eye issues. Do not fool around with this as immunotherapy can cause myasthenia gravis and other autoimmune disorders which can cause death. Go see a neurologist asap and have someone take to picture of both eyes when you keep your head still and look as far as you can to the right and the left. If one eyeball doesn't move you might have asthenia gravis and need a autoimmune blood test panel done.

12 days agoI have already seen neurologist and ophthalmologist and they have done this test plus others. Everything has come back good. They are thinking it's a nerve so I'm on a high dose of Prednisone for a few days. Seems like it may be getting a little better. Thanks you for your input.
