How do I stay positive when my tumor isn't shrinking?

I've been in treatment for 4 years now. I'm tolerating the treatment pretty well but the size of this tumor is now the size the tumor in my arm was a year and a half ago. I'm really struggling to keep my attitude straight.

Living with kidney cancer for four years takes real strength, and it makes sense that staying positive feels hard when scan results bring worry, even while treatment is going well. Many people in the Renal Cell (Kidney) Cancer community find it helps to share these ups and downs with others who get it, and it can also help to bring these feelings to the care team, who can explain what the changes mean in your situation. Some people also find small daily comforts, like time with loved ones or a favorite routine, give their mood a lift on tough days. You are welcome to share more about what has helped or what has been hardest lately, so others here can offer support.
