5 months agoHi! Louie, I can totally relate, I was diagnosed with squamous cell cancer on the base of my tongue. I have been through my chemo and radiation treatments. I did my first follow up with oncologist after my pet scan. He said that I was still lighting up, but said that it could be from inflammation. I have an appointment with the ENT coming up. He was the same one that diagnosed my cancer. My last appointment with him he put a camera in my throat and said he didnโt see any cancer ๐ that was before the scan, so Iโm very hopeful that it is inflammation. ๐๐๐๐ค

5 months agoYes! Frances, Iโve always been pretty much a private person. The cancer journey is a very long and exhausting one. You will definitely have your physical, emotional, and spirituality, tested. Staying positive, focused on nutrition and exercise, helps tremendously. I have been a care giver for my 87 year old sister with rectal cancer while working through my treatments. There are definitely times when you wonder how much you can do. Joining this group is a breath of fresh air, being able to vent and share experiences with others that can relate is a blessing! ๐
