Accepted Answer
This is an important question that many people in the cancer community have wondered about. Current research and health organizations have found no evidence linking COVID-19 vaccines to increased cancer risk, and studies continue to monitor vaccine safety. It's completely understandable to have concerns about anything that might affect cancer risk or treatment, so discussing these questions with your healthcare team can help address your specific situation and provide personalized guidance based on your medical history.

6 months agoI have been wondering the exact same thing!!!! I never knew anyone with breast cancer….and now I know many! Ages 55-59. That’s why I’m not taking Letrozole, I’m like yea… I was told to take the vaccine. We all know how that turned out. I had Covid twice.

4 months agoNo studies have linked the vaccine to cancer. And the vaccine, like any vaccine, doesn’t always prevent the disease but makes it survivable. In addition, the older you get the more likely you are to get cancer. It is generally an old person’s disease although there is an increase in younger people getting colorectal cancer. The cause of this increase is under study. One more note on the Covid vaccine: I had two friends who died before the vaccine was available. None of my vaccinated friends have died despite some of them being quite elderly with comorbidities.
