Getting a cancer diagnosis and going through surgery can feel overwhelming, especially when trying to understand medical reports and terminology. The medical team will be the best source for explaining what the pathology results mean for your specific situation and what the next steps in your treatment plan will be. Many people in this community have walked similar paths and found it helpful to write down questions before appointments and bring a trusted person along for support during important conversations with doctors.
