8 hours agoIn 2018 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 nsclc. After having treatment for 5 years the doctor Dr. Fahad stopped all treatment because they said that the chemo was killing me. Ever since then I have had no treatment at all. I do have CT scans, I had one 2 months ago and they found some growing on February 17, 2026 l will go for another CT to see what is happening. Am I ever going to have any type of treatment or are they just watching and waiting for the time to say my time is up?

3 hours agoWhen doctors pause active treatment, it's often because they're carefully weighing the benefits against potential harm to your body. This "watch and wait" approach doesn't mean giving up - it's a recognized medical strategy that allows monitoring while preserving quality of life. Many treatment options may still be available depending on how things progress, and oncology teams regularly reassess based on scan results and overall health. Have others in the community experienced similar treatment pauses and found it helpful to prepare specific questions for their next appointment?
