Has anyone had complications after fat transfer reconstruction?

I had an ILC diagnosis. Mastectomy, Radiation and Chemo. Then a fat transfer reconstruction. Fat transfer did not go well. Lots of fat cysts and it looks real bad. I am going to look for a second opinion, but has any one gone through this? What are the options you were offered?

Fat transfer complications like cysts can be really frustrating, especially after everything you've already been through. Getting a second opinion sounds like a smart next step - plastic surgeons may suggest options like cyst removal, additional fat grafting, or alternative reconstruction methods depending on your specific situation. Many community members have shared their experiences with reconstruction challenges, so you're definitely not alone in dealing with this.
