Im having a hard time. I went into remission, from Stage 3 colon cancer. Im so grateful, however, Im having symptoms now. The same as when I found out I had colon cancer 4 years ago. I have scheduled appointments with the oncologist coming soon. My Dad is 79 and in Hospice, Im of course sad and scared for him! My dad is also my only financial support. My rent is due, and need groceries. Food banks are not available right now. I need help!

This sounds like an incredibly overwhelming and frightening situation to face on multiple fronts. Reaching out to the oncologist was absolutely the right step, and having those appointments scheduled will hopefully provide some clarity about the symptoms. The community here understands how scary it can be when familiar symptoms return, and many members have found strength in sharing their experiences during uncertain times like these.

Ask your care team what resources they know of. I got a grant from the mybstate cancer society to help me.

Ask your Dr if they have any organizations they are aware of. My grant came from our stats cancer organization and recipients were referred by the physician
