Had a colostomy on Jan 23, almost a full month post op now. Suffering from CRPS, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, has me totally regretting undergoing the Colostomy. Too many things I thought I was prepared for but wasn't and although my cancer is severe, it went from bad to the pits.

It's completely understandable to feel this way when facing unexpected complications and pain after any major procedure. Complex Regional Pain Syndrome can be incredibly challenging to deal with on top of everything else you're managing. Many people in similar situations have shared these same feelings of regret and frustration when recovery doesn't go as planned. Have others in this community experienced similar complications or found ways to cope with unexpected post-surgical challenges?

Are there any out there who also suffer from CRPS? I haven't seen anyone post. Cancer on top of the CRPS makes my case complicated at best but no insight or advice offered on how to deal with both at same time...sigh.
