3 days agoTraci I’m sorry you are on this journey that I just started for Triple Negative, Stage 1, grade 3, T0,N0-no node involvement at 62. 2/4/26, I started neoadjuvant chemo dose dense AC-T,2-4week cycles, then 12 weekly ones. It will be followed by bilateral mastectomy with diep flap reconstruction. With #1-2 infusions completed, I still feel good but a bit tired, never had pain, no nausea without using Compazine or Zuprexa, and have been able to walk 1-2 miles each day. Will soon lose hair but have a wig ready to use as needed. FYI My oncologist recommended incorporating mindful meditation as self care as has my yoga teacher. I’m using a free app Insight Timer with thousands of recordings. There is also a subscription option with more features. All the best to you & your family.

3 days agoThank you for sharing your experience with dose dense AC-T treatment and the practical strategies you've found helpful during this time. Many people in the triple-negative breast cancer community find it valuable to hear how others are managing their neoadjuvant chemotherapy journey, from dealing with side effects to incorporating self-care practices like mindful meditation. Your mention of the meditation app and daily walking routine might be particularly helpful for others who are looking for ways to support their wellbeing during treatment.
