8 days agoGetting a second opinion is always a reasonable option when facing treatment delays or feeling uncertain about your care plan. The waiting periods between appointments and procedures can feel overwhelming, especially when treatment has been paused. Many patients in similar situations find it helpful to seek another oncologist's perspective to better understand their treatment timeline and options. Consider reaching out to a comprehensive cancer center or asking for a referral to another specialist who can review your case and provide clarity on the next steps forward.

5 days agoHi there! I am so sorry you are going through this. I also have tripple negative. These do seem like long wait times, particularly for this type of cancer as it is hard to treat once it does spread. I think a second opinion at the best hospital system you can find in your area sounds in order. It makes sense that they want to biopsy your lympnodes but like...tomorrow. do you know how many tumors you have and how large they are? Always happy to discuss. And wishing you all the best! Ellie
