6 months agoHello Denise Ditto - I’m similar - grade 3 TNBC - one of the rarest. It’s a long journey but you’ll be fine. I’m in the UK so there’s a time difference so I’m sorry reply isn’t as speedy as I’d have liked it to be especially if you’re worried. Take every day at a time - just don’t worry about all ‘the next stages’ because it really is like a book turning another page daily. There are a lot of twists and turns some good some bad but you have to go through them all to get to the Eureka moment you know that you’re on top of it. There’s a lot if info so I won’t bog you down at this stage but do ask if there’s anything in particular and I’ll / we’ll do our best to guide / offer support. I was diagnosed last Oct 2023 so am well down the line & hopefully got answers to some of your questions so please don’t hesitate. Sending you love and light and a hug. It’s scary but it’s beatable. Just tell your body it can do it and importantly you have to believe it. Slow down. Look after you. Get out into nature. Build a recovery nest at home, your bedroom or your sitting room, so you have somewhere that is your ‘get better sanctuary’ where you feel safe and can crash at any time. Sending positive vibes ❤️

6 months agoAE. Thank you so much for your kind words and insight. Yes one day at a time. I am emotionally and mentally exhausted and treatment hasn’t even started yet I have my young adult son living with me otherwise I’m on my own it’s rough. Right now it’s just jumping through their hoops and trying to handle my insurance company ( they’re trying to cancel my policy). The stress is unreal. Thank you for letting me rant. 😊 Blessings and prayers your way Continue healing ❤️🩹

6 months agoSame boat but about a year ahead. In the immunotherapy and Xeloda (oral chemo) phase (post iv chemo, unilateral mastectomy, radiation) and I agree with everything everyone here said… www.tnbcthrivers.org is the support group, community, that has helped me feel less alone. Every time I join a Zoom group there’s someone who’s going through or has been through the, what I think is weird and horrible and unheard of, thing that I’m going through. There’s a community out there. We’re here. This all sucks… keep going.
