3 months agoMy wife was just diagnosed with uterine cancer. Just reaching out to others for information. We go for a consult in 2 days

The days leading up to and following a cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming, and it's completely natural to seek information and support from others who understand this journey. While every situation is unique and the consultation will provide specific details about the diagnosis and treatment options, many people find it helpful to prepare questions in advance for the medical team. This community is filled with individuals who have navigated similar experiences and can offer valuable insights about what to expect during consultations, treatment processes, and day-to-day life with a uterine cancer diagnosis.

3 months agoHow was your consultation! I was diagnosed in June. Just had complete historectomy surgery. Everything was contained. So very lucky. Healing up now. A slow process. My biopsy showed stage 1 grade 1a which is the best possible outcome. I wish you luck as you take on this journey.

3 months agoHi Bob! From what I have learned from others who have had endometrial cancer, most women, if caught early, are in remission for quite awhile. In my case, it has spread again after 2 years and I am about to undergo more chemotherapy. If caught early enough, though, this type of cancer is generally recoverable l.

a month agoIf she can have her hysterectomy done mechanically, laparoscopically I healed up very quickly! Good to go in about 2 weeks and very little discomfort!
