Radiation treatment schedules can feel overwhelming, especially after completing chemo, but many people find the daily routine becomes manageable once they get started. The treatment team will walk through what to expect during the consultation, including potential side effects and care tips to help manage them. Fellow community members who've been through similar radiation schedules often share helpful insights about their experiences, so this is a great place to connect with others who understand what this journey is like.

I was diagnosed with clear cell uterine cancer and completed my chemo 2 weeks ago. I will be starting radiation every day for 5 weeks soon. I also will be doing immunotherapy once every six weeks. I went thru chemo with no problems, but now have chemo induced neuropathy in my feet, it's driving me crazy. I tried all kind of natural things. The doctor started me on cymbalta a little over a week ago, it's causing me insomnia and pains in my tummy.

I will be starting radiation this Monday the 6th. I am trying my best to stay positive, I found that helped me thru my hysterectomy and chemo. i still had bad times with chemo but, it's done. I know my body and I know if I obsess over radiation I can make myself physically sick even if there is no reason, like stomachache. Even tho I've had friends who have told me not to be on these forums because of bad results, etc I've found it encouraging to read how it affected others, good and bad. I have neuropathy in my fingertips and toes, I am hoping it'll get better now that chemo is done. So i promise to post my experience with radiation so you can understand what you may experience. We can beat this. My doctor told me that the chemo and radiation I receive is "curative" and I choose to believe that.
