How do I cope after an endometrial cancer diagnosis?

I was diagnosed a year ago. It seems so scary and overwhelming just take one day at a time. Rest when your body tells you too. Join support groups as well.

I was diagnosed in December 2025 - January complete hysterectomy. I was fortunate that my margins and lymph nodes were clear but when they did an abdominal wash they found 2 cancer cells so I had 6 chemo sessions followed by 25 fun filled radiation treatments. Those ended early September. Currently receiving Keytruda for 24 months. I just got back from 6 days at Walt Disney World - it was HOT - 90's all week (I know, it'sFlorida). First couple days I tried to keep up, had a scooter which was wonderfu, after that i did what i wanted to do. I am 73 I am very glad I went because I was with my kids and my precious 5 year old granddaughter. I'm telling you this because in 9 months I had surgery, chemo, radiation and still went to WDW - not that I was doing cartwheels but do not fear what's to come. I'm 4 years past my first diagnosis. Healthy and no evidence of disease. But regular monitoring. Please know there are many treatments and options. Best wishes
