I have "another" dumb question - infusions #1 some nausea, tired, I'm thinking hey not so bad. But then I reada few other posts and people talking about 2nd and 3rd and how bad they felt . Was i doing a rainbow and puppies moment when I thought it would be the same way each time?

Glad the first one went well. It is cumulative the more treatments you receive. Keep a log of everything no matter how insignificant and tell the dr. Don't skip any pre or post meds as they help with the side effects. Move as much as you can by walking etc. and get rest. Eat small healthy meals and cut out all sugar, seed/vegetable oils, and gluten/ grains. Stay hydrated and add minerals like Liquid IV to your water. I found it helpful to fast on treatment day. If you feel like you are getting dehydrated ask your Dr for an infusion of extra fluids. I actually asked for extra during every appointment because I knew I wouldn't be able to drink enough and sometimes got more in-between.

I had infusion #3 yesterday. I think it's hitting me harder this time, first two were not too bad. I had a headache this AM, worse than usual, but managed with Tylenol. I think Freddy Fatigue brought reinforcements this time. I am working on fluids. Thanks for the suggestion to request more IV fluids, I thought of it but did not ask, I will put it on a reminder for next infusion. Three down and 3 🤞🤞 to go. Dependant on my CT progress.

Unfortunately, mine was cumulative. Here’s a suggestion that helped me. Ginger lozenges or chews for when you feel a tinge of nausea or crummy. They’re available at drugstores and Amazon.
