5 Cookbooks For Cancer Patients and Survivors

For this month’s book club, we’re sharing a few cookbooks that provide tips, recipes, and recommendations for healthy eating for anyone who’s been diagnosed with cancer. Whether you’re approaching survivorship or going through cancer treatment, these recipes can help you better understand how you can nourish your body with whole foods.

1) The Cancer-Fighting Kitchen: Nourishing, Big-Flavor Recipes for Cancer Treatment and Recovery by Rebecca Katz with Mat Edelson

Whether you’re looking for full meals, snacks, or meal prep ideas, this book has everything you need to incorporate more plant-based recipes into your lifestyle. 

5) SpiceRack: A Spicy Action Plan with Recipes to Reduce Breast Cancer Risk & Manage Your Weight by Rachel Beller

Rachel Beller, MS, RDN, offers realistic and attainable strategies and recipes that are packed with cancer-fighting nutrients. She incorporates evidence-based techniques in an approachable way to help you understand how to build a meal plan that’s tasty and nutritious.
