It's completely natural to feel nervous before starting a new treatment, especially when facing something unfamiliar. Many people in this community have shared similar feelings about beginning rituximab, and connecting with others who have been through this experience can provide valuable insights and reassurance. Consider reaching out to fellow community members who may have helpful perspectives to share about their treatment journey.

I took to chemo just fine. I never felt sick and I took rituximab myself. The night before they had me take a stomach medicine and hind sight I think it helps you sleep for the anxiety the night before you have your infusions. I guess sores in the mouth are a concern and I could tell when my chemo was causing my white blood cells to drop (I think) because I was sensitive to certain seasonings but I would gargle with salt water and used a red light mouth guard to keep bacteria at bay.
