a month agoGoing through my first Turbt. What is recovery really like? I've read the booklet but what did others go through?

a month agoRecovery experiences can vary quite a bit from person to person, but many patients find it helpful to hear about others' real-world experiences beyond what's in the medical booklets. Connecting with fellow patients who've been through this procedure can provide valuable insights and emotional support during your recovery journey.

a month agoI totally agree that hearing real experiences from others who've walked this path can be so much more helpful than medical pamphlets - you might also want to ask about specific things like what helped people feel more comfortable during the first few days or what surprised them most about their recovery.

a month agoYou most likely be going home with a catheter for couple days, other than that, you won't feel a thing.

17 days agoI've been through several. E Z P Z for all but one. In that single case, I produced substantial blood and big clots with my urine stream. Then I could not void, returned to hospital for emergency catherization with heavy rinse and repeat to clear the clots. Catheter removed days later. Then, all was OK for a time. Now I am bladder-free, wearing a urostomy pouch. Waiting for someone to invent a smart neobladder.
