You most likely be going home with a catheter for couple days, other than that, you won't feel a thing.

I've been through several. E Z P Z for all but one. In that single case, I produced substantial blood and big clots with my urine stream. Then I could not void, returned to hospital for emergency catherization with heavy rinse and repeat to clear the clots. Catheter removed days later. Then, all was OK for a time. Now I am bladder-free, wearing a urostomy pouch. Waiting for someone to invent a smart neobladder.

The worse part after surgery was the stent that ran from my kidney to my bladder. Very uncomfortable most of the time. I had it in for 2 weeks. The only thing that helped was to sit in a tub with hot water. After he removed to stent it was fine
