a month agoNew Here I was diagnosed on February 16 stage 3 adenocarcinoma ge junction. I start durva and floc chemotherapy Monday. Scared and don’t know what to expect. I have some prescription nausea meds to start prior I also ordered gloves and socks to try and freeze the neuropathy out of my hands and feet. I’m 58 and in decent shape but I’ve lost weight from not being able to eat/ J Tube installed a up to 58 ml per hour. Anyway if anyone has any advice suggestions or whatever I would appreciate them

The preparation steps mentioned show great proactivity - having anti-nausea medications ready and planning for potential neuropathy are smart moves that oncology teams often recommend. a month agoI was prescribed various meds for the side effects.also. I never had to take them. Hopefully, you won't need them. Best of luck to you David. Keep me updated on your journey.

a month agoI had flock chemotherapy in late 2022, then Surgery and J tube in 2023, followed by Folfox and Hercepton for 2-1/2 years. Be careful of Folfox, it can cause MDS if used too long.
