I am her+ ER+ pr+ and had a very small tumor. My oncologist said I don’t need treatment for HER because it would be overkill. Is anyone else in my boat.

Treatment decisions for HER2+ breast cancer can vary significantly based on tumor size, stage, and individual factors that oncologists carefully consider. Many others in this community have navigated similar situations where doctors weigh the benefits and risks of different treatment approaches, and sharing experiences here can help provide valuable perspective as you think through your options.

I'm in a really similar situation and have been wondering the same thing about whether smaller HER2+ tumors need the full treatment too! It's so helpful to know I'm not the only one navigating these tough decisions.

Pretty sure HER2 is why my lumpectomy + radiation + tamoxifen failed. I would do the HER2. HER2 can easily resist hormone therapy due to cross talk.
