Initially my left shoulder started to hurt the are that was irradiated, and the pain is now all on the right shoulder along with pain in the feet (peripheral neuropathy) but milder.. my Oncologist suggested to take Tylenol or Ibuprofen as needed..any thoughts?

24 days agoJoint and shoulder pain can indeed be side effects of TDM1 treatment, and these symptoms are experienced by some patients receiving this therapy. It's encouraging that your oncologist has provided guidance on managing the pain with over-the-counter options, and many in the community find it helpful to share their experiences with managing treatment-related discomfort and what strategies have worked for them.

22 days agoI was told to take Claritin and I do exercises for my shoulders and arms. I started with a physical therapist before my surgery and continue to do them. Really helps. I do them daily no matter how crappy I feel. I think it has helped my shoulder not seize up. Gabapentin works for the neuropathy. Ask your dr. It’s worth it!

21 days agoIt’s for the joint pain. Don’t ask me why but it works! I use regular visible red eye solution for my weepy eyes. Two or sometimes three times a day. It’s a miracle. Good luck.
