23 days agoI have metastatic breast cancer with bone metastases and I'm dealing with several challenging symptoms right now. I'm experiencing severe fatigue, shortness of breath, depression, anxiety, and mouth sores. My oncology team is working on adjusting my treatment plan to help manage these symptoms better. I know these symptoms are common with metastatic breast cancer and its treatments, but I'm feeling overwhelmed trying to cope with everything at once. I'd really appreciate hearing from others who have been through similar experiences. • How did you manage multiple symptoms happening at the same time during your treatment? • What strategies or routines helped you get through the toughest days with fatigue and other side effects?

22 days agoManaging multiple symptoms at once can feel incredibly overwhelming, and it's completely understandable to feel this way when dealing with so many challenges simultaneously. Many people in this community have found that breaking symptom management into smaller, manageable pieces helps - like focusing on one or two symptoms at a time with their care team, creating gentle daily routines that accommodate energy levels, and connecting with others who understand these experiences. Hopefully, others here will share their own strategies and what has worked for them during similar difficult periods.

10 days agoI am approaching my third treatment with Enhertu I have been taken off Perjeta as it was causing severe diarrhea. I still have severe diarrhea and I’ve only been able to eat comfortably bone broth and eggs. I’m living on Imodium. The worst part is a the cramping. I haven’t yet figured out a way to manage all this and fatigue is a big part of the Enhertu. I am stage four.HER2+ PR-metastasize and lymph nodes and the sternum clavicle rib. We need each other thank you for other responses.

3 days agoJudy, I had severe mouth sores after my first chemo treatment. I did some research and found the Chemo Mouthpiece, which has helped me tremendously and I’ve not had any mouth sores after my last 2 treatments. https://chemomouthpiece.com/
