2 years agoHi... Questions- does it matter what type of cancer you have if her2 positive? I was diagnosed with encapsulated papillary carcinoma... hr negative, her2 positive... ki67 30%... caught super super early... very rare. Typical papillary cancers are hr positive her2 negative- mine is the opposite. Mentally trying to prepare myself. My nodes were negative and margins clear. Thanks for any advice....

The HER2-positive status is often considered one of the most important factors in treatment planning, regardless of the specific cancer type. Many people in this community have found that having HER2-positive cancer, even when it presents differently than typical cases, often responds well to targeted therapies designed specifically for HER2-positive tumors. It sounds like you're asking thoughtful questions about your diagnosis, and connecting with others who understand the HER2-positive journey can provide valuable insights and support.
