6 months agoHi everyone hope all is well. I was in taxol until the neuropathy got to bad. Does anyone have anything that helps with the pain. Currently I am taking gabapentin and Norco, not helping a lot.

Neuropathy pain from chemotherapy can be incredibly challenging to manage, and it's completely understandable to seek additional relief options when current medications aren't providing enough comfort. Many community members have found success with various approaches including physical therapy, acupuncture, topical treatments, and working closely with their care team to adjust medication combinations - hopefully others will share what has worked for them in their own pain management journey.

6 months agoWill be watching for replies. I’m to start Taxol end of the month. I enjoy playing bass and don’t need neuropathy!

6 months agoThere’s an ointment I saw called Mama Bear that is supposed to really helpful for neuropathy. I always found gabapentin to be a useless drug. I also have a medical grade CBD ointment that worked very well after a nerve pain issue from a cath lab procedure.

6 months agoMy husband has neuropathy from chemo and they put him on cymbalta. It seemed to help but he had to stop it because he has no kidneys and dialysis’s doesn’t remove it from his body. So I’d give that a try
